Engineering Manager-Manufracturing
Role: Engineering Manager
Location: Dublin North
Salary: €50,000
Industry: Pharmaceuticals / Manufracturing
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping up to date with best available technology in line with business needs
- Evaluation of equipment and liaison with suppliers (including completion of factory acceptance tests)
- Carry out validation studies on all new pharmaceutical equipment introduced to the GMP areas and maintain the validation status of all existing and working equipment.
- Assist in development of engineers / technical support
- Maintain the calibration status of the measuring devices on both sites
- Maintain the company equipment list
- Co-ordinate planned in-house and external maintenance in conjunction with the production department
- Order and manage all equipment spare parts and engineering consumables
- Develop a specific program to identify, locate and track all spares. Account for the current stock list and value
- Based on production information develop initiatives to drive continuous improvement with measured results in cost, quality and cycle time
- Responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities are carried as per the preventative maintenance schedule
- Provide support to quality, engineering and project introduction with new material / systems / projects / trials in production
- To keep up to date status on health & safety requirements and ensure all activities are assessed for its full compliance to heath and safety regulations
- Ensure that all activates are in compliance with requirements of Good manufacturing practice
- Ensure excellence in housekeeping
